Kellan Lutz Mentions Rob In New Interview With InStyle

Kellan Lutz mentions Rob and Breaking Dawn in a new interview with InStyle.

Before we get into your turn as a Greek god, please tell us about something we’ve been waiting for since last year’s Eclipse: What was it like filming Bella and Edward’s wedding in Breaking Dawn?

Well, it sucked for the girls beacuse it kept raining. I was comfy in a suit, but they were in dresses and looked, well, vampirically pale because it was so cold! But it turned out beautifully. Kristen (Stewart) looked so good in that dress, and Rob (Pattinson), of course, was studly. The fans are going to melt and swoon.

Rob Talk Breaking Dawn Wedding With MTV

From MTV

We caught up with the man better known as Edward Cullen after his Movie Awards win for Best Male Performance. While he was still reveling in the excitement from taking the Golden Popcorn, he was willing to look to the future and tell us how awesome his upcoming onscreen wedding is going to be.

“It’s very pretty, very sweet,” he said. “Hopefully it will be good.”

Apparently that adorable-looking walk down the aisle was all Kristen and not as much RPattz, he admitted.

“I didn’t really do much other than just stand there,” he said with a laugh. “Which I guess is what most guys do.”

And he had nothing but glowing things to say about his on- and off-screen lady love and her performance.

“She looked amazing,” he said, adding that the dress looked amazing. “She got to do the whole walking down the aisle and everything.”

Bella enjoys ”morning-after” eggs courtesy of new husband Edward on Isle Esme. ”I like the honeymoon scenes,” Robert Pattinson says, ”because it’s such a massive turnaround in Edward and Bella’s relationship.”

Esme (Elizabeth Reaser) greets members of the Denali (from left, Maggie Grace, Casey LaBow and MyAnna Buring) at Bella and Edward’s wedding.

Jacob receives his invitation to the wedding. ”He’s still getting over losing out on Bella,” says Taylor Lautner. ”By the end he’s able to accept it and deal with it like a man.”

Preview of the article

Fans have waited years to see Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward (Robert Pattinson) tie the knot, and the wedding scene, scheduled for the end of production on The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, proved to be equally climactic for those involved. “It was one of the coolest things that I’ve done,” says Stewart. “There was a certain point when I walked on set, and I saw everyone from the entire cast sitting there in the pews, about to do their bit. And it was just so perfect for me in that moment. It was so emotional in such a real way. I literally felt like thanking them for coming.”

But filming wasn’t always quite so idyllic. As the stars and director tell EW, Breaking Dawn Part 1 and 2 (in theaters November 18 and November 2012) involved a grueling, globe-trotting shoot, and scenes far darker, bloodier, and more polarizing than any in the franchise so far. If audiences haven’t matured with the Twilight books, they’re about to grow up fast. “We shot everything — whether it’s the lovemaking or the childbirth — as potent and powerful as it can be,” says director Bill Condon, who knew he was working within the constraints of a PG-13 rating. “It will be interesting to see whether there will be people who think it too disturbing for this universe.” For her part, Stewart wishes the movie could have been even truer to the graphic nature of the book — not so much the honeymoon sequence (“It feels like a real love scene, not necessarily vampire-y, which is good”), but the brutal birth of the baby, Renesmee. “It’s funny because when [the PG-13 issue] comes up, everybody thinks it’s all about the sex,” she says. “The birth is really effective, and I’ve heard it really hits you in the face. But what it could have been? It could have been shocking and grotesque, because that’s how it was written in the book.” She sighs: “I would have loved to have been puking up blood.”

Taylor Lautner, who plays Jacob, says that even being a member of the wolf pack didn’t have its privileges. “Everybody is always complaining to me that I don’t have to wear the contacts, I don’t have to wear the white makeup or wear wigs and all that stuff. And I’m like, ‘I’m the one in the freezing rain and cold not wearing a shirt! I paid my dues in New Moon and Eclipse.’” And as for his plot arc in Part 2, which will involve falling for — or imprinting on — Renesmee? “There were many times I walked up to Stephenie [Meyer] and asked her, ‘What exactly is imprinting?’” says Lautner. “It’s still a very confusing thing for me, so don’t ask.”

Peter Facinelli Talks Breaking Dawn Wedding To EW

Peter talked to EW about Nurse Jackie & Breaking Dawn.

I know you’re on set, how does it feel winding it down?
It’s been a whirlwind. We’ve been filming for six months. You take it day by day. I feel good about what we’ve shot. Now it’s up to the editor, and I hope it all comes out well. At the end of the day, it’s hard because you don’t have control over how it’s put together. But I’ve seen some put together, and it looks pretty good. I’m excited to see the finished product.

Anything you can tease to us about it? I hear the wedding scene is grand.
The wedding scene, first of all, was really beautiful. The way the set was decorated, the way they lit it. It’s in the backyard of the Cullen house, and they utilized the space really well. For us as actors, it was hard because it was raining the whole time we shot, but you’ll never see it on film. For us, it was raining and muddy, but on film, it will look beautiful. In the baseball sequence [from the first movie], it rained the whole time, but you can’t tell.

How did you magically stay dry?
It’s very difficult. I remember the first day [on the first film], we were in the midst of shooting, and they said [to the director Catherine Hardwicke], ‘”What do you want to do Catherine?” So they started passing out baseball hats to anyone whose hair looked too wet. It was movie magic; you never see it. It has to rain really hard for it to read on film.

Give me a visual tease of the wedding, for the wedding geeks, like yours truly.
It looks very magical. It was a real treat to be able to watch the two of them get married. It was a longtime coming, this wedding. It didn’t disappoint me when we shot it, so I think it will be magical.
